Whether you are a food lover or not I am sure you might have heard of Farzi Cafe. Farzi Cafe located at Ground Floor, Cyber Hub, DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon is a popular place that serves Modern Indian cuisine i.e. you favorite cuisines with a farzi twist. As the name also suggests they create an Illusion with their cuisine.
The Ambience of the place is very nice. Nice and huge Bar counter with apt sitting and perfectly made floor for Live performances. The quality of furniture that they have used is very nice and comfortable. Also the lighting gives you that classic pub feel.
The Menu is crisp and nicely made, you’ll find a lot of interesting dishes with a twist. The Prices they have kept are on little higher side, though the Service provided was very good but still prices are little high. The servers served us with a smile and service was fast.
In Drinks we had Kaala Jamun Bunta (4.5/5): Tasty kaala khata with liquor in it, served in a classic bunta bottle. The amount of alcohol was less hence it is best suited for the people who need a slight kick to enjoy their evening. Drinks on Highway (4.7/5): Vodka based drink made with sugarcane juice in it. Served on a mini “Charpayi” to give that Highway dhaba feel. Vodka Curry Mango Chuttney Foam (4.7/5): Had tangy flavors of Mango and spices topped with an aromatic minty foam.
The we ordered the famous Dal Chawal Aranchini (5/5): Full marks to the presentation and taste. Must try this twist even if you don’t like dal chawal. Pyaaz and Kathal ki Kachori (4.5/5): As reading the name you can imagine, it had onion and jack fruit filling, perfectly fried and was not at all oily. Prawn Tempura (5/5): Crispy and Saucy prawn served with lime foam. Very nice and perfect flavors. Prawn lovers lookout. Duck Samosa (5/5): Perfectly cooked and filled with pulled duck and topped with plum sauce. Super yummy. Tandoori Soya Tikka (4.7/5): Filled with cheese and nuts, ultra soft soya tikkas. Mini Raj kachori (5/5): Truly delightful mini raj kachoris made upside down adn served with tamarind foam. Must try this twist.
Mutton Irachi Pepper Fry with malabari Parantha (5/5): Must try for non veg lovers. Perfectly cooked mutton with amazing south Indian flavors. Wok Tossed Veggie (4/5): Nice mix of vegetables served in makhani gravy. Hajmola pop-sickles (4/5): Icy lollypops made with hajmola. Was given prior to main course start. Chicken Changezi Quesadillas (5/5): Crisp parantha quesadilla outside and flavorful chicken inside. Again a must try. Paan Gujiya (5/5): Hats off to the modernization. Candy Floss gujiya loaded with dehydrated paan. Have it to feel it.
