Molecule located at Main Market, Sector 29, Gurgaon is the place where you will amazing fusions like Nitro cooked Popcorn, Edible Coal and ya Imitation of Ras Malai which has wasabi in it.
The Ambience of the place is very nice. It has rooftop sitting as well as you can sit inside, both the places are very nicely made. The theme is Military and Chemistry lab, so you will end yourself up in a Chemical war 😛 . The furniture they have used is very good, also the place is decently lit up.
The Menu they have has enormous variety of fusion food, be it starters, main course or desserts you will find yourself having the food with a cool twist. Also I liked they way Menu is made. The Prices they have kept are on little higher side but compared to others in the vicinity they are justified. The place was fully packed but the servers provided very good service.
We had Molecular Puchka Shots (5/5): Amazingly presented having 5 flavored water in test tubes, 2 Chuttney syringes one pudina and one Imli, Potatoes for filling in a small cooker along with crisp gol gappas. All the flavored puchka water were amazing to my surprise, also I loved the fact that you can customize your gol gappas. Air Bread (5/5): “Chhota packet bada dhamaka”. Small bread packet filled with 4 cheese sauce and topped with achari paneer tikka. Simply amazing. Bhel (4.7/5): Again presented beautifully, crisp dry bhel perfectly made. Kohliwada Chicken (4.6/5): South spiced chicken pakoda in short. Ghee Roast Soya Keema (5/5): Amazing soya keema served with hanging mini paranthas and lachha Radish salad. Must try for veggies.
Edible Coal (4.5/5): Yup you read that right. It looks like coal and my friends were reluctant to try this but when I digged in it then came to know it is nothing but dahi ke kebab 🙂 . 4 Cheese Chicken Tikka (4.7/5): Cheese filled Malai chicken tikka. Must try for malai chicken lovers. Chawpati in Delhi (6/5 :P): One of the best pav bhajji I have ever had served most unique way that you can imagine. Don’t miss this. Tandoori Chicken momos (4.4/5): Nice crust and fully stuffed. Black Pepper Garam Masala Fish Tikka (4.5/5): Nicely flavored soft fish tikkas.
Paneer tikka 2 ways (4.7/5): Again full marks to presentation. Peri Peri and pesto Paneer tikka served with chuttney in droppers. Punjabi Style Lamb Chops (4.5/5): Nice and spicy lamb chops. Baby mutton seekh puffs (4.3/5): Cylindrical mutton keema puffs. Were little oily. Chicken Lollypop (4.7/5): Crispy fried saucy chicken lollypops.
Now comes the show stopper Imitaiton of Ras Malai (5/5): Prepared live in front of us. The chef came with Nitro fryer having liquid nitrogen in it along with the ingredients. Chef pulled the secret ingredient and made Ras malai shaped dallops and put vanilla bean and wasabi on top. Then the plate was set up with condensed milk rose sponge and pistachio dust. Now the dallops were dipped in liquid nitro and placed over sponge. Some more condensed milk and flavors and candy floss on top. Last but not the least some liquid nitrogen poured over. Amazing taste with a Wasabi Kick.
Verdict – This is place served most amazing and tasty fusion food that you should experience.
