Pa Pa Ya located at Level 4, Select Citywalk, Saket, New Delhi is a place that serves everything Asian that you can imagine, be it Chinese, Thai or Japanese. They have mastered the art of Asian cuisines. You get authentic cuisines and also some amazing fusions as well.
The Ambience is a fine dining style. The furniture that they have used is of very good quality. There is dome at the center above the bar counter which is the main highlight of the place. As the sun sets the whole environment changes to party like, the music becomes fast and the dome is flashed with some nice projected lights.
They have a well crafted Menu. As I already told they have every Asian cuisine in their menu and on top they not very high priced. Considering the place was full, the Service provided was decent but can be improved.
In Drinks we had, Wine Sangrias (5/5): Not at all strong, was having equal taste of wine as well as of the other things. U lsuki Sho(4/5): Base as bourbon with watermelon and kafir lime topped with vanilla air. Fuku Sour(4.7/5): Base as vodka and having melon flavor in it, topped with mango candy. The Kuro (4.6/5): Having Tequila base with chocolate and cream in it. The Exotica (4.6/5): Nice and fruity cooler.
Now comes the food, the dumplings (5/5) were very nice and fresh. The Chicken Shawarma (5/5) was loaded with flavorful chicken rightly cooked and spiced. Chicken Laksa Soup(4.3/5): Rich and having base of coconut, gives u that coastal kick. Potato Salad(4.7/5): Potato and Cream cheese served in a stone, was yummy. Chicken and avocado tacos (5/5): Miniature tacos, crispy outside and yummy inside.
Also the Mains and Sushis were very nicely prepared and presented. Best were Lamb Rendang Curry and the Crispy Veg Sushi having crispy spinach on top. These should not be missed at any cost.
In Desserts, we had Mochi Ice Cream (4.7/5): Amazing flavors and colorfully presented. Chocolate Ball on Fire (5/5): This one is not to be missed. Presented by pouring on fire liquor over the chocolate ball, it melts and opens into biscuit crumble, nuts, ice cream and brownie.Vanilla Panna Cotta (4/5): Very nicely presented and was pretty decent one.
Verdict – It is a must try place for Asian food and sushi lovers and it will not burn that big hole in your pocket as you are expecting it to :). You can also choose Sunday brunch options which are very nice.
