Rediscover your college Canteen at The Delhi Canteen

The Delhi Canteen located at the end of Maviya Nagar market, New Delhi is the place to bring your college memories back.

As the name suggest the Ambience of the place is like you college canteen. Its a pretty  small place with 6-7 tables. The Furniture used is also pretty standard nothing fancy about it. There is wall called Artist’s Corner where young artist showcase their photography talent.

Their Menu has a unique variety of North Indian and Continental cuisines. The dishes are fairly priced as well so that it won’t burn a hole in your pocket. Also I really liked the funny names of the dishes. The Service was also decent enough, we were not kept that much waiting.

We had Cream of Mushroom Soup (4/5): Perfectly creamed soup very appetizing. Served in a cup cum Bowl.

Singh Da Burger (5/5): Crispy burger with tandoori chicken filled in it. They bake their own buns so it was very very good. Chapali Kebab (3/5): Very spicy mutton kebabs that could have been softer and better.

Meat balls & rice (5/5): Perfect fried rice with veggies and the meat balls were perfectly cooked and had a tangy flavor. Must try.

Caramellody (4.5/5): Chocolate cake topped with chocolate sauce and served with Salted caramel. The quality of this was very nice and was full of flavors.
