Kebab Gali has been a favorite spot for tikka and kebab lovers in Delhi. Their new outlet is now open at DLF SuperMart1 Gurgaon and is creating lot of buzz in that area.
The sitting area is very small. The Ambience is classic Indian and vintage mixture. You can easily locate the place by the big red shed it has.
Now the Service. The service was nice we were not waiting for long and also the staff’s behavior was also nice. They have a diverse Menu card having full variety of starters to main course. Also the prices they have kept is very competitive.
Coming down to Food now. The Best in the place when among the starters was the Soya Tikka (5/5). Very soft and fluffy tikkas that make you ask for more n more. Also Dahi ke Kebab (4/5) having crusty semolina coating were very nice. The Hare Bhare Kebab (4.3/5) were full of flavours and perfectly textured and spiced.
Chicken Kastori Tandoori (4/5) were classic tandoori chicken with a kastori methi twist. The Stuffed Mushrooms (4.5/5) were nice and juicy mushroom with a unique twist as in most of the places you will find mozzarella stuffed in mushroom, they were having paneer bhurji instead. Malai Chicken tikka (3/5) was normal as any other chicken malai tikka.
Mutton Gilloti (4/5) was very well presented and was having classic mutton gilloti kebabs with little paranthas to complement the taste. Panner Tikka (3.5/5) was good old paneer tikka with soft cubes of panner nothing new except the presentations.
In main course the Butter chicken (3.5/5) was a little on the sweeter side with big pieces of chicken. But the Dhabe da Meat (4/5) was perfectly cooked mutton curry. Also if you like spicy food, you should try their kebab gali special paranthas.
Their Major USP apart from starters is Biryani. The Chicken Biryani (4.5/5) was full of flavors and was presented in very traditional way along with Raita.
In sweets we tried the Phirni (5/5) and full marks to that for being perfectly sweet and flavorful. Also we were served drinks (of any kind) in skull casted glasses.
Verdict If you are a Tikka or Kebab lover you must visit this place to try out something new. And don’t forget the Mighty Soya Tikkas 🙂
